THE BRAND

Overlooking the Mediterranean and surrounded by the Lebanese mountains, Beirut shines as the Jewel of the Middle East. It was in this ancient coastal city that the RAḎŪLF brand was born.

RAḎŪLF is an old Germanic name, the origin of designer and founder Ralph Moudawar’s own.

Born and raised in Lebanon, Ralph’s wanderlust took him to cities across the world where he often settled for years at a time, developing a special connection with each place.

Despite living in some of the world’s most exciting cities, his relationship with Beirut was irreplaceable. Called back to his birthplace after his travels, Ralph found the city changed by conflict and turmoil. Its energy was fading. He missed the freedom that only the healthy dose of Beirut’s chaos and the warm rays of the Mediterranean sun could provide. He felt compelled to preserve his city’s spirit as he knew it, and had the idea to do the same for the other places he had lived. He wanted a tangible, beautiful expression of that energy that he could attune to, and so turned to gemstone jewelry.

Gemstones embody concentrated energy, vibrating at their own natural frequency that our ancestors intuitively knew would resonate with our own human frequencies, causing energetic shifts and balances. Gemstones have been used throughout history not only as ornamental objects, but also as tools for healing and empowerment.

THE DESIGN

There is an undeniable link between our emotions and our mental state that exists as a silent conversation within us. This dialogue of emotion-based signals between our hearts and our minds is known as the heart-brain connection.

RAḎŪLF’s designs tap into this link with two gemstones in every necklace, one close to the heart and one to the mind.

Our pieces are designed in Beirut then handcrafted and assembled in Jaipur, the gem capital of the world. The city’s stonecutters, craftsmen, and jewelers have been making magnificent jewelry for Maharajas since the early 18th century.

While it was once unlawful in India for anyone other than royalty to wear gems and jewelry, RAḎŪLF’s designs are intentionally accessible and price conscious.

Our brand embraces equality as we make pieces that both men and women will love wearing, collecting, and gifting. We also strive for sustainability, preferring lab grown gemstones, identical in composition and structure to natural stones without depleting the planet’s finite natural resources.

Our chains are gold vermeil, meaning they are a cut above gold plated, the highest quality jewelry available short of buying solid gold.
